Who can upgrade?
Any existing CoPilot customer can take advantage of the discounted pricing, however please be aware that CoPilot Live v8 upgrade is currently only available for phones and PDAs running Windows Mobile 5, 6 and 6.1 operating system.

Note: By upgrading to CoPilot Live 8, the product key of your previous version of CoPilot Live will be closed and you will not be able to use it.

Check compatibility
Note: Some HTC Touch Diamond2 / HTC Touch Pro2 devices shipped with CoPilot Live 7 preinstalled on the Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM. You can upgrade your ROM to Windows Mobile 6.5 for free from the HTC website which should allow you to uninstall/delete CoPilot Live 7 and then upgrade to CoPilot Live 8.

What you'll need to upgrade
We will need to verify that you are eligible to buy an upgrade by checking your current CoPilot product key - the 25 digit code that you entered when you 1st installed CoPilot. You can easily find your product key in CoPilot. Here's how:
  • CoPilot Live 7: select Menu > Settings > About CoPilot Live
  • CoPilot Live 6: you can find your product key in the 'pk.txt' file, which you can find on your memory card in the CoPilot > Save folder
  • CoPilot Live Pocket PC 5 or Smartphone: you can find your product key in the 'pk.txt' file, which you can find on your memory card in the CoPilot > Save folder
If you cannot find your previous version CoPilot product key or you want to be able to use your previous version of CoPilot in the future, you will need to buy a full-priced version of CoPilot Live v8.

Important: you will need to completely uninstall your previous version of CoPilot before installing CoPilot Live v8 (Instructions)
